True to the form of recent years, the Old
Boys turned up in full force at ACJC
and ACS (Independent) and retained
the Ang Peng Tiam Challenge trophy
at this year’s Past vs Present Games
on 27 February. The response was
overwhelming with soccer drawing
a record number of teams and other
sports continuing to show growth in
participation levels.
Demonstrating fitness, skills and
leveraging on their experience despite
the intense February heat, the Old
Boys took back the soccer title from
the schoolboys to make a clean sweep
of all the games (Tennis, Waterpolo,
Badminton, Volleyball, Rugby, Soccer
& Squash).
We would like to record our deepest
appreciation to Mr Michael Thio
from Malaysia Diary Industries for his
contribution to beverages for the event,
ACJC and ACS (Independent) for
hosting and the ACS OBA’s Oldham Club for helping in the organisation of
this ONE ACS traditional event. Until
the 2017 Past vs Present Games, let’s
continue to remain connected through
our various sporting communities.
