ACS Oldham Hall Inter-Hostel Challenge - a
HUGE success!
Once again, ACS Oldham Hall (ACS OH) commemorated Founder’s Day with the annual Inter-Hostel Challenge which turned out to be a huge success. In recognition of the support by the 13 other hostels and boarding schools that participated in the event, ACS OH donated $13,000 to bursary programmes for local students from low-income families. Present at the event were Associate
Professor Ho Peng Kee (Senior Minister for Law and Home Affairs),
Mr Richard Seow (Chairman of the ACS Board of Governors), guests from MOE and other well-wishers.
The games were keenly contested and Oldham Hall did well to clinch the Captain’s Ball honours. In his address to the 600-plus participants and supporters,
Mr Koh Kok Hong, Chairman of the ACS Oldham Hall Management Committee thanked the participating hostels for their enthusiastic support. Mr Koh also reminded the youths present to always have a heart for those who do not have the same opportunities in life as the boarders present enjoy.
