It was a day to celebrate successes and to affirm a job well done…. that has always been the focus of Founder’s Day. At this year’s celebration, the Guest-of-Honour,
Mr Chew Kwee San, Executive Director of the Tecity Group of Companies and the Honorary Secretary and Council Member of the Tan Chin Tuan Foundation, presented awards to deserving students and teachers.
Lim Jia Yi, Joel, the 2009 PSLE top student was the recipient of both the Lee Hah Ing Scholarship and the ACS OBA Meritorious Award.
Miss Woon Yuet Meng received the ACS (OBA) Outstanding Teacher Award in Loving Memory of Sandy Eu, while
Mr Chester Chen and Mdm Sri Dewi were the recipients of this year’s ACS (Primary) PSG Outstanding Teacher Award
.
Following a Parade by the Uniformed Groups, awards and scholarships were presented to deserving students. Staff were later treated to a sumptuous lunch at the Tang Court Restaurant, Regional English Language Centre.
