Students, parents and Old Boys rallied around on
Teachers’ Day to pay tribute to our teachers, past and present.
Gestures of appreciation
to the teachers who made a difference in our lives were
demonstrated in various ways.
The ACS OBA organised a party
which was attended by 70 retired principals, vice-principals,
teachers and staff, while students and parents put in tremendous
time and effort to honour the teachers in fun and entertaining
ways. Below are some of the highlights:
It's FUN, FUN,FUN for
ALL at
ACS (Primary)!
On 31 August, the boys
turned up in school dressed-as-they-are,
while the Prefectorial Board put up a
concert for the teachers.
Two teachers were
honoured, Ms Angeline Chan
and Mr Raymond Poon, when
they received the ACS OBA Most Caring
Teacher Award In Loving Memory of Sandy Eu
for 2010.
Later
that evening, the Parent
Support Group (PSG) hosted a
Pyjama Party for the
teachers at the NUS Guild
House.
It was a
great night of fun and
entertainment as the
wonderful PSG took much
pains to ensure that the
celebration was a memorable
one.
<<< Our
wonderful parents
>>> There were
lots of gaiety
and laughter amongst
the teachers,
who were all
geared up in their
pyjamas and
bedroom slippers and
clinging on to
cuddly toys.
<<<
The teachers participated
in games such as the
pillow fight and
speed-drinking from baby
milk bottles.
>>> The
highlight of the
evening was a
hilarious skit with
our
ever-sporting
Principal, Mr
Richard Lim, and the
emcee dressed as
the B1 and B2 in
Bananas in Pyjamas.
