Partnering
school leaders and teachers to help students achieve their
potential.
The main objective of the school’s Parents’ Association (PA)
is to partner the school leaders and teachers to contribute
to a meaningful journey of raising children and helping them
achieve their potential.
Ably headed by Mrs Hanny Muchtar Darta since its formation 5
years ago, the PA has actively supported the school in many
ways such as providing snacks and drinks for the swimming
carnival, games for the Gala Event, sports bags for Sports
Day, books for the library and donations to charitable
organizations during Idul Fitri and Christmas. It has also
organised events such as the Emotional Intelligence Seminar
for parents and teachers, the Drug Free Prevention Seminars
and Sex Education Seminar for parents and students, and the
Practical Application of
BrainGym for parents, teachers and students.
To herald the new academic year commencing June 2009, the PA
has elected a new Chairperson, Ms Trita Amahorseya-Ng to
head a new committee. They will spearhead PA events for the
next two years with the goals of supporting the school by
acting as the first level of contact for parents and to
organise activities that will help the school develop
students to their full potential academically, emotionally,
physically and mentally.
