ACJC’s Mr Yeo Kai Xiang (Mathematics
Department) and the Pasupathy twins
(Kumaresa & Vignesa) were members of
the victorious Singapore team that thrashed
Thailand 9-0 in the Floorball (Men’s) final!
It was a most memorable moment for Mr
Yeo who was overwhelmed by the support
of the crowd. When asked how they
managed to balance their time between
training sessions and preparations for the
GCE A level exams, Vignesa reiterated the
importance of maximizing whatever free time
he had while Kumaresa identified that the
help and support from his team mates and
family members as the key factor that made
the difference during this grueling period.
Besides our Floorball players, other ACJC
representatives include Sabelle Kee,
representing Singapore in Waterskiing
and Marina Chan, who was part of the
Swimming Team. Marina added to her
many achievements with a first place finish
as member of the 4x100m Freestyle relay.
Sabelle did very well by clinching a third
place finish in Water-skiing (Women’s Tricks)
ACJC’s alumni also did the ACS family
proud.
