The ACS Marketplace Christian Fellowship
(AMCF) held its inaugural meeting on
August 1 with 16 old boys at YMCA @
One Orchard. Led by Eugene Wong (Class
of 83), the fellowship prayerfully calls out to
ACS old boys working in the marketplace
to come together to encourage and pray
for each other and ACS.
Guided by Hebrews 10: 24-25,
24And let
us consider how we may spur one another
on toward love and good deeds, 25not
giving up meeting together, as some are
in the habit of doing, but encouraging one
another—and all the more as you see the
Day approaching,
Prof Lawrence Chia,
former ACS (Independent) Principal (1988–1993) and Peter Tan, former Principal
of ACS (Junior) (1999–2007) and ACS
(Barker Road) (2007-2017), together
with the old boys shared testimonies and
their visions on how we ought to spur each
other to do good to one another and for
our alma mater.
The AMCF welcomes all Christian ACS old
boys to its meetings. For more information
on dates and venue, please contact Alvin
