Nearly 70 retired teachers and principals turned up at the
ACS (Barker Road) Sports Complex on 01 September for the
Teachers’ Day Dinner which was hosted by the ACS Old Boys’
Association.
The mood was certainly joyous as the guests mingled around
exchanging fond memories and renewing friendships with old
colleagues.
Among those present at the dinner to pay tribute to their
old teachers were old boys from the ACS Classes of 69/71 and
59/61.
In appreciation of their teachers, the Class of 69/71
generously presented the teachers with NTUC vouchers while
the Class of 59/61 celebrated the occasion with a
contribution of a cake with the inscription
“To all our teachers, thank
you for making a difference in our lives”.
