Judging from the pains that former
students often take to pay tribute to their old teachers
at class reunions and other school functions, the teaching
profession seems to be a rewarding one, although not
always in the financial sense. It must be a flattering
feeling to be remembered, but what is more satisfying for
them is the role they played in changing lives and
instilling values and skills, and now seeing their former
students being successful in the community and corporate
world.
To find out
more on why they have chosen teaching as their career, we
have invited a number of teachers from the ACS family of
schools to share their views and experiences.
