The ACS
Board of Governors (ACS BOG) wishes to announce the retirement of
Mrs Daisy Ong, Principal of ACS (Primary), effective December 2004.
Mrs Ong has served 42 years in the teaching profession with
distinction. She joined ACS (Barker Road) as the Vice-Principal of
the Primary Section in 1995 and was appointed the Principal of ACS
(Primary) in 1998.
On behalf
of Bishop Dr Robert Solomon and Members of the ACS BOG I wish to
thank Mrs Ong for her dedicated service and commitment to ACS
(Primary). We wish her good health and godspeed on her well deserved
and blessed retirement.
The
ACS BOG is also is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Richard
Lim Chew Hiong as Principal of ACS (Primary), effective January
2005.
Formerly
the Principal of Zinghua Primary School (1994 – 1997), Mr Richard
Lim has been the Principal of Henry Park Primary School since
December 1997. A Christian, he is eminently qualified to succeed Mrs
Daisy Ong as he comes with good credentials and an excellent
professional track record.
We welcome
him to the ACS family. I trust with your support and encouragement,
ACS (Primary) will continue to uphold the holistic education it has
always provided and be the premier primary school all of us in the
ACS community will be proud of.
