On 12 November 2016, 130 former Boys’ Brigade (BB) members from the ACS family of schools turned up at ACS Oldham Hall for the fraternity’s first get-together.

Gracing the occasion were Rev Chiu Ming Li (former 12th BB Company Boy and Pastor-in-Charge of the Barker Road Methodist Church), Mr Peter Tan (Principal, ACS Barker Road) and former ACS teachers, Mr Bau Sek Hoe (Honorary Captain), Mabel Chee, Mrs Lee Liat Cheng and Sylvia Chan; also present were two Past Presidents of The Stedfast Association - Mr Lee Liat Cheng and Mr Ong Eng Tong (both from the ACS Class of 60).

The evening of worship and fellowship was filled with fun and nostalgia as those present walked down memory lane renewing friendships, sharing experiences and singing old BB songs. There were even trumpets sounding for ‘call to parade’!

According to Eugene Wong, the event's Organising Committee Chairman: “We are very pleased with the outcome of the evening and plan to make this get-together an annual event. Our aim is to draw old ACS BB Boys to come back to give thanks to our Lord Jesus Christ for His Blessings and provide mentorship, resources and support to develop the present BB Boys in the ACS family of schools to be servant leaders of strong moral character.”
