March 1st is always a special day on the ACS calendar. And this
year’s 128th Founder’s Day Dinner was no exception. Held at
the Singapore Expo and attended by almost 850 ACSians, staff,
teachers and parents, the evening was full of laughter, loud ‘Yam
Sengs’ and the recollection of boyhood foibles.
The evening’s emcee, alumna Tan Yi Wen did a splendid job
and the vibrant dance performances from ACJC’s ACSian Theatre
provided a jolt of youthful vigor to the evening. And of course,
student representatives from the ACS family were also present in
full force honing their skills of persuasion and negotiation through
the sale of school memorabilia.
Each Founder’s Day, we are reminded that while time passes,
hairlines recede and waistlines expand, the inexplicable bond that
all ACSians have with each other remains, and our love for our
alma mater endures forever.
We hope that these photos capture the spirit of ACS that words cannot express...the joy of kinship, the
uniqueness of ACSian camaraderie, and the inimitable sense of fun!
The Best is truly, Yet To Be.
