70 Old Boys and Girls from the ACS Classes of 59 and 60 and the Pre-U Class of 61 got together at the River Palace Chinese Restaurant on 21 February for a combined Lunar New Year Lo Hei lunch to celebrate the Year of the Snake. With the noise level at an all-time high in the restaurant, it was audibly an enjoyable gathering as old schoolmates chatted, reconnected and renewed friendships.
According to Oliver Hennedige (ACS Class of 59), “Although our numbers have shrunk with the passage of time, the good turnout is a true testimony of the ACS spirit that binds all those who have passed through the portals of ACS – regardless of the cohort we come from”.
“The occasion was also a time to be thankful for the many blessings we have received over the years, and my cohort now looks forward to celebrating our 70th birthdays later this year”,
Chris Chen (ACS Class of 60) added.
