Chai Hong (ACS Class of 68), Managing Director,

30 years of banking experience. He is currently
Vice Chairman of the ACS Board of Governors and
ACS Independent’s Board of Management, a member
of the ACS International’s Board and the ACS
Oldham Hall’s Management Committee, and the
Honorary Secretary of the Singapore Rugby Union.

Oon Jin Gee (1st
Vice-President)
A true-blue ACSian and two-time Olympian, Jin
Gee is SMRT’s Head, Organisation Design &
Excellence, and a volunteer with the Singapore
National Olympic Council, Singapore Swimming
Association and National Anti-Doping Advisory
Board Singapore. Jin Gee firmly believes in the
ACS brand of a holistic education and hopes to
further the OneACS cause through service.

Joy-marie Toh (2nd
Vice-President)
Joy-marie (ACJC Class of 91) is the General Manager of the Anglo-Chinese Schools Foundation. A fifth generation ACSian, she was on the Executive Committee of the 15th Students’ Council in ACJC and active in the ACJC Drama Club. Joy-marie was previously an Executive Director at Goldman, Sachs & Co. in Hong Kong.

is the managing partner of a law firm. He holds
an MBA/LLM and MSc (Construction Law and
Arbitration) from NUS and King’s College
London. He currently serves on the Board of

Rayson Seow (Assistant
Honorary Secretary)
Rayson (ACS Class of 75) recently retired from his financial services practice after 26 years to pursue his passion for sports evangelism. An avid footballer, he organises outreach events through football for the Sports Coalition Singapore and the Bible Society of Singapore. He currently serves on the Board of Management of ACS (Independent).

Mervyn Lim (Honorary
Treasurer)
Mervyn (Pre-U Class of 76), the CFO and Executive Director of Solar Silicon Resources Group, is no newcomer to the ACS OBA. An ACS thoroughbred, he enjoyed the final years of pre-university education in ACS Barker Road before this was replaced by ACJC.

Ong Tek Khoan
(Assistant Honorary Treasurer)
Tek Khoan is Managing Director of Templeton Asset Management, a global investment management firm. A true blue ACSian - ACPS, ACSS and ACJC (Class of 79) - he went on to Imperial College, London, where he graduated with BSc (Eng) Honours and MSc degrees. He also earned a MBA with Distinction from Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Chandra Mohan
Retnam (PBM) (Committee Member)
Chandra is a partner in the law firm, Rajah & Tann LLP. A true blue ACSian - ACPS (1974), ACS (1978) and ACJC (1980), he has served the ACS OBA since 1991, holding the position of Honorary Secretary from 1995 to 2005 and from 2007 to 2012. Chandra did his first law degree in NUS and subsequently his LLM in the University of Cambridge. He also serves on the ACS Board of Governors and the Board of ACS (International). |

Lim Jen Howe (Commitee
Member)
Jen Howe is a partner of Thong & Lim, a local accounting and auditing company. He schooled in ACS, from ACPS right through to ACSS (‘O’ Level Class of 69 and
‘A’ Level Class of 71), and has been actively involved in the ACS OBA since the early 1990s. Jen Howe is an ACS OBA representative on the ACS Board of Governors. He also served on the ACS (Independent) Board of Management from 1993 to 2009.

Kien Yip (ACPS Class of 79,
ACS Class of 83 and ACJC Class of 85) is the founder of Bronco Media House, a TV and film production company in Singapore. He holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering Degree from the Nanyang Technological University and MSc in Management of Technology from the National University of Singapore. Kien Yip is also an Associate Mediator with the Singapore Mediation Centre.

and ACJC Class of 96) is a Family Physician in a government polyclinic. A graduate from medical school in NUS, he is also involved in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education. David hopes to contribute to the ACS OBA Management Committee and see more of the younger ACSians connected through the various portals.

En (ACS Class of 90 and ACJC Class of 92) is a Director and Head of the Investor Team at Impact Investment Exchange Asia. In school, he actively served as a prefect, student counsellor, scout and in athletics. Having recently returned to Singapore, En is honoured to serve the ACS family once again. En holds a Bachelor of Laws degree (First Class Honours) from the University of Leicester, UK..

Timothy Chew (Co-opted
Member)
Timothy (ACS Pre-U Class of 62) is ACS through
and through, from Primary and Secondary schools
to Pre-University, and continuing to be of
service to the Alma Mater. He has sat on various
ACS boards, including the ACS Board of
Governors, and is probably the ACS OBA
Committee’s longest serving member. An Associate
of the Chartered Insurance Institute, he owns an
insurance agency.

Jonathan is a Partner in Harry Elias Partnership LLP. He received his education in ACJS (Class of 89), ACS (Class of 93) and ACJC (Class of 1995). As a debater, he has represented ACS, ACJC, NUS and Singapore at local and international tournaments. Jonathan is a board member of the Singapore Civil Service College and the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board and holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business..

Member)
Melvin (ACPS Class of 93, ACS (Independent) Class of 97, ACJC Class of 99) works in the Product Control function in Standard Chartered Bank having graduated from National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) degree. He is actively volunteer rugby coach in the schools and Oldham Club and also the current Chairperson of Children’s Ministry in Wesley Methodist Church.
