                    Over thirty old boys and girls of the Pre-U Year ’57/58 
					together with their spouses gathered at the Keppel Club on 3 
					April for a class reunion. To some this was the first time 
					that they were meeting their school mates since leaving 
					school and naturally there was a lot of reminiscing and 
					catching up to do. 
						
                    Though small in number, they were not short in enthusiasm. 
					They came from America, Australia, Canada, New Zealand and 
					The United Kingdom.

                    The evening started with the singing of the ACS anthem and 
					after that there was non-stop fun and entertainment which 
					was provided by representatives from the various countries.

							The Australian team comprising Jason Han, Henry Pang 
							and Reena Cheng performed an Australian ballad.  
							 
							- 
							
							Lee Boon Siong who became a Buddhist and is actively 
							involved with the rebuilding of the Buddhist Temple 
							of Thanksgiving, spoke about his national service 
							experience.   
							- 
							
							 Lim Chin Lock did a skit on teacher Yap Ah Chuan.
							  
							- 
							
							Khoo Chong Yew presented a scientific programme 
							Ophthalmology.   
							- 
							
							George Teo took us down memory lane with an 
							impeccable rendition of “For You” and “Love You With 
							All My Heart”.   
							- 
							
							Yeo Chee Hee spoke about his life as a farmer in New 
							Zealand. Some of the spouses even got in on the act 
							and spoke about the first impressions they had of 
							their partners.  
						 
						
                    Mr Lim Choon Mong was the only teacher present that evening 
					and he spoke about how proud he was to see all of us 
					succeeding in life and that as our teacher he could not have 
					asked for anything more. 
						
                    At the end of the day, a good time was had by all and 
					everyone agreed that we should hold this sort of gathering 
					more regularly and thanked Jason Han for having done a 
					wonderful job in organising this event.
