If you’re a dessert aficionado like me, you’ll surely be bowled over by the stylish ice cream cakes, petite cakes and truffles at Haagen-Dazs’ cake boutique, Cakes Divine. Believed to be the first of its kind in Singapore, this newly opened outlet is conveniently located at the basement of Forum The Shopping Mall.

My visit to Cakes Divine was a sweet experience that tantalized all my senses. The superb display of exquisitely designed ice cream cakes that greeted me was a delightful sight to behold. What caught my eye were the cheeky and cleverly chosen names for the cakes, such as “Nuts About You” and “Perfect Green Tea Matrimony”. When I settled down to sample the tempting range of cakes and truffles, it was certainly love at first bite! The delectable pure ice cream, juicy fruits and other natural ingredients just melt in your mouth. And to top it all, the personal touch provided by the attentive staff made my day.

Needless to say, I was totally enticed by the superb range of offerings, which are all made from super premium Haagen-Dazs ice cream and infused with the finest ingredients, without any preservatives, artificial colourings or flavours, to tantalise discerning palates.  But what ‘takes the cake’ is that customers can have cakes elegantly designed for any occasion or as gifts, by a team of specially trained chefs.
