On 30 November 2013, more than 120 old boys, teachers and coaches returned to 121 Dover Road for the ACS(Independent) Class of 2003 10th Year Reunion.
The day’s programme included a tour of the new school facilities for old boys, who were visibly amazed at the remarkable progress made over the decade. This was followed by a session in the auditorium, which featured speeches by Deputy Principal
Mrs Judy Ho and Cohort Leader
Ian Lim, a spectacular performance by contemporary dance group Dance Venia, as well as a highly nostalgic Class of 2003 slideshow which brought everyone down memory lane.
The old boys expressed their appreciation to teachers and coaches by presenting them with specially engraved Lamy Pens. Dinner was then served in the Student Activity Centre, where old boys and teachers caught up with one another in between mouthfuls of delicious sang mee, nasi bryani and, of course, "xiao ji". Generous donations by old boys, sale of school memorabilia and the auction of ACS school flags contributed to successful fund-raising efforts.
Although much has changed over the past ten years, some things remain the same - like the indomitable ACSian spirit. The Best Is Yet To Be!
