Old Boys Gather to Network

Over 60 ACS Old Boys & Girls, ranging from the graduating Classes of 1960 to 2008, gathered at the trendy nightspot Hacienda for an evening of networking on 26 November 2009. Aptly dubbed “Gathering of ACSians (GOA) 2009”, the event was organised by the ACS OBA in response to overwhelming requests for networking opportunities for ACSians.

"Currently, ACSians organise cohort dinners or gather during Founders Day once a year. The OBA developed GOA to give alumni a chance to just network and chill" disclosed ACSOBA committee member Woon Chet Choon.

Judging from the response, the attendants had a great time. A visiting contingent of old boys from Malaysia graced the event too and the OBA is pleased to report discussions are underway to help support the development of a Malaysian Chapter.
