Change of Leadership at ACS OBA
I am humbled and deeply honoured to be taking
over the helm of the ACS OBA from Mr Lim Tat.
Tat and his predecessors have made invaluable
contributions under their able leadership of the
OBA and I would like to put on record our deep
appreciation for their work. I will endeavour to
give of my best to continue their sterling efforts in
leading the OBA to preserve and promote the ACS
Spirit for the Glory of God and the ACS Community.
Together with my dedicated team of office bearers,
we look forward to a productive and fulfilling term
in office as we strive to enhance our engagement
with our Alumni, Schools, and stakeholders.
I am proud that in recent months, our schools and many members of the ACS
community have stepped forward to do their bit for the community during the
COVID-19 pandemic outbreak. Their unselfish and gallant initiatives include providing
and delivering free food to those in need, the amazing task of putting together a
Business Directory within just 8 days to support ACS-owned establishments during
the circuit breaker period and checking in on our retired teachers to see if they
require any assistance. However modest, these well-meaning initiatives have in
one way or other made an impact on the community and those in need. As we have
been privileged and blessed with the ACS brand of education, I urge more of our
members to come forward to contribute towards the needs of our schools and the
community at large by leveraging on their respective fields of expertise.
Whilst many are speculating that life after COVID-19 may not be the same, we
sincerely hope that it will be for the better. Be that as it may, our values, integrity and
service before self must not change.
As we move forward together to meet the challenges of the post-COVID world, we
thank you all once again for your continued support.
The Best Is Yet To Be!
