Young
'Old Boys' from
ACSians@NP
As part of the 125th Founder’s Celebration, a group of young ACS old boys at Ngee Ann Polytechnic has launched an alumni group called
ACSians@NP. Led by Shawn Seah, ACS (Barker Road) Class of 2009, the group aims to bring together the growing number of ACSians at the Polytechnic, and bond them through various activities such as talks, presentations and social events.
The launch and welcome tea session, which was themed “Our Hearts, Our Hopes, Our Aims are One”, was graced by
Ms Joy-Marie Toh (JMT) from the ACS OBA. She spoke about how important it was that we as ACSians have the responsibility to give back to our beloved school in whatever way we can. She gamely embraced her inner 18 year-old self and joined us in our icebreakers such as ‘Wacko’ and sharing ACSian memories. As with all ACS occasions, the successful event ended with the ACS anthem which everyone sang with gusto as it brought back wonderful memories.
ACSians@NP has also launched a Facebook group for old boys to join and to find out on the upcoming activities. It is also a platform for old boys to communicate with each other.
Indeed, The Best Is Yet To Be!
