WOW! It was such a great evening!
As the
photographs on this page suggest, the
first-ever ACS Old Boys’ Association and
MGS Alumnae Association Social Mixer
event on 9 July was a huge success.
Kudos to the ACS OBA for initiating such
an event for inter-school and
multi-cohort socialising and networking!
 Through
the power of social media and by
word-of-mouth, about 200 alumni from the
ACS family and MGS descended upon the
hip and trendy ACSian-owned (of course!)
Balaclava at ION Orchard. Many thanks to
Samuel and Stanley Yeo for being such
gracious hosts.
The vibe of the
evening was relaxed and fun, and it was
lovely to see Old Boys from the Class of
’59 sharing fond memories of “Days of
Yore” with recent graduates from the
Class of ’10, and long-lost schoolmates
reconnect.
There are plans
to host more combined events such as
this in the near future, and we look
forward to your continued support and
participation. The OBA welcomes your
feedback, time and effort to make our
events even better.
