Who we are
We are a small, professional communications and design agency. The principal partners are old friends, going back to school and scouting days and later worked together in their respective fields of Advertising, Marketing and Communications.
Lim Chin Lock
Chin Lock has been in
advertising all his working life. He joined O&M Singapore in 1964 and after 6
months with the company he was seconded to their Hong Kong office. One of the
first clients that he handled during his stint there was Shell.
In his 14 years in Hong Kong he rose from Account Executive to Managing Director and was responsible for acquiring many blue chip accounts such as Pepsi, ITT, Singapore Airlines, British American Tobacco and Hyatt.
In 1979 he returned to Singapore and set up the advertising agency Adcom. One of the company's first clients was Mobil, which Chin Lock acquired and continued to service for almost 20 years. He and his team at Adcom helped build the client's billings from a small budget of $250,000 then to $3,000,000 in 2000 and in the process successfully launched many Mobil products that are household names in the market today.
Jerry Choo
Jerry’s 34 year work
experience has been with multi-national corporations, starting with Unilever
where he held positions in Product/Brand Management, Advertising and Sales
Promotions and where he gained a strong insight into the marketing of
fast-moving consumer products.
From 1973 to 1999, he was with the Mobil organisation, initially in Strategic Planning, before rising to senior managerial positions in Fuels and Lubricants marketing. He helped in the successful launch of many new products and concepts, lifting Mobil to a market leadership position in the retail sector. Jerry's experience and deep knowledge of the Petroleum industry was further widened with assignments to Malaysia and Thailand and when he took on responsibilities for markets in Asia-Pacific.
